WHO: Students from several South Bay High Schools, community leaders, public health & safety advocates

WHAT: The targeting of underage youth with alcohol promotions has resurfaced in our local high school campuses with invitations from "Baby Rock" nightclub in Tijuana.
Group of high school students team up with community leaders and law enforcement representatives to denounce the ads that lure teenagers to drink on Thanksgiving Eve.

WHEN & WHERE:

TUESDAY, Nov. 23, 1999 at 3:30 P.M.      Montgomery High School,3250 Palm Avenue, San Diego.           In front of the gym, off front parking lot

WHY: More than 500 nightclub employees in some 40 Tijuana, Rosarito and Ensenada drinking establishments have been trained in Responsible Beverage Service and have made great strides. This reckless promotion is a slap in the face to the numerous Tijuana nightclubs that are complying.
