Alcohol-related crashes  ARE NOT ACCIDENTS
They are predictable and preventable!
Project TRAC is a two-year project funded in 1997 by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency’s Emergency Medical Services, Office of Health Promotion and Alcohol and Drug Services teamed-up to implement this innovative public health project. 
Project TRAC is a collaborative, multi-disciplinary educational campaign to reduce injuries and fatalities associated with alcohol and drug-impaired driving in San Diego County. (click here for more details)
To reduce morbidity and mortality associated with alcohol and/or drug-impaired driving in San Diego County; and To raise the level of awareness of the seriousness involved with combining drinking and driving and the personal impact that it has on all of our lives.
