| Regulation
must be enforced
— Tijuana
Councilman Ranier
Falcón
Martínez
stated yesterday
that the existing
alcohol regulations
in the City must be
enforced, especially
when Town Council
has demonstrated
it’s disposition
to take action
regarding this
issue. At City Hall,
fellow Councilmember Máximo
García
López
backed
the modification of
the alcohol
regulation to
prohibit the
immoderate sale of
alcoholic beverages,
but
“nothing (to
enforce the reform)
is being done
about it,” Falcón
declared. |

| All-you-can-drink
specials targeted
— By
Anna Cearley, UNION-TRIBUNE
STAFF WRITER— TIJUANA
– Starting this weekend, bars
and clubs that offer "All You
Can Drink" specials, many of
them aimed at U.S. tourists, will
have to find other ways to lure
customers.
Marcos
Villalobos, Tijuana's Director of
City Regulations, said the clubs
could be fined from $15 to $2,500
if they continue to promote the
specials. Those who persist could
be forced to close. . .
