IF YOU’RE UNDER 18:

  • It is illegal to cross into Mexico without a parent or written parental consent.
  • It is illegal to enter into Mexican bars.
  • If caught breaking Mexican law, you will be detained and your parents will be called to pick you up.
  • Using false I.D. is a crime in both countries.

WARNING

IN MEXICO YOU CAN BE ARRESTED FOR

  • Drinking in public
  • Disturbing the peace or being a public nuisance
  • Fighting
  • Urinating in public
  • Nudity or other immoral conduct

IT IS A FELONY IN MEXICO TO

  • Possess a weapon
  • Possess, consume, import, or export drugs

DESIGNATED DRIVERS:

If you drive after drinking, you can be arrested for drunk driving:

  • .08 BAC if you’re 21 or over.
  • .01 BAC (ANY trace of alcohol) if you’re under 21 (Zero Tolerance Law).

YOU WILL LOSE YOUR LICENSE!
