Community Representatives:

Leaders in Education and Outreach

What are Community Representatives? Community Representatives (CR’s) are trained individuals who provide education, outreach and resources within Project TRAC targeted communities. CR’s truly represent the community where they live or work, or are part of specific target population. CR’s each have unique personal experiences and understandings that help promote a greater acceptance of their impaired driving prevention messages.

What do Project TRAC’s Community Representatives do? CR’s for Project TRAC conduct outreach and make educational presentations about the problem of impaired driving at community agencies, religious organizations, schools, clubs and housing complexes. CR’s share their unique story about a motor vehicle crash caused by a drug/alcohol impaired driver and how that experience changed their life. CR’s also participate in monthly group meetings where they share community experiences and exchange ideas.
